Objectives

We examined the similarities and differences of the everyday feeding in each country in the following fields:

  • The tradition and religion of every nation;
  • The geographic isolation and the economy of every country;

It was vital to make our students aware of the importance of healthy feeding and the dangers of not-healthy food consumption. Students gave their proposals. For that reason we made a research in the fields of:

  • Biological products;
  • Artificial additives;
  • Food from Genetic Engineered Organisms;
  • Health;

A special reference made on

  • Environment;
  • Increase of human population;

Finally, we examined the value of diet in relation to:

  • Athletics;

Working together on the same topic we wanted to provide our students with opportunities for intercultural dialogue, practise tolerance and compare different educational systems, use and practise the English language as the common means of communication.

The approaches for the achievement of these objectives were

  • Surveys through questionnaires and interviews about eating habits through the generations
  • Meetings with experts
  • Laboratory experiments
  • A common website containing every action
